This workshop is to support teachers in developing instructional strategies that engage students in asking and answering their questions about natural phenomena. for example, Why do hailstorms occur only at certain times of the year? We want our teachers and our students to be equipped with strategies for generating and investigating these questions-not only in school, but to support their ongoing learning in our increasingly complex world.
Interested in more? We are also providing a 2 credit Professional Development course for teachers Jun 1-4 (free to teachers, will be offered on-line). With follow up sessions (done virtually). You will be able to work with teachers from around the state to modify your curriculum and build a coherent set of lessons (a “Storyline”) around a “phenomenon”.
